A pencil drawing of Arno Breker’s relief Victorious Warrior / Siegreicher Krieger.
This was one of the monumental reliefs (5m high) to decorate the Grosser Bogen, a monumental arch to be built in the center of Germania, to which Berlin was to be transformed after the war was won (about 1950).
Designed by state architect Albert Speer, was intended to be a war monument dedicated to all fallen soldiers of the Reich.
The relief depicts a heroic warrior holding a sword over his head. This was made to announce the victory of German armies.
