A pencil drawing of the statue of Warrior King Leonidas l of Sparta, erected in 1968 in Sparta, made by the famous sculptor V.Falireas.
Leonidas had a notable participation in the Second Persian War, where he led the allied Greek forces to a last stand at the Battle of Thermopylae (480 BC) while attempting to defend the pass from the invading Persian army.
The base of the statue is inscribed with one of the greatest phrases in history : «Μολὼν λαβέ»
